Continuing that analogy, the seven days I just spent in Seattle are the start of a full-blown love affair.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nI&#8217;m still wrapping my head around the last three weeks. Relishing how much I enjoyed myself and wishing I could do it all over again, right from the start. At the moment, <strong>my head and heart are full of memories<\/strong>. Allow me to share some of those from the last week with you.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blue skies in Seattle? You betcha. Need proof? <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo.php?fbid=379812108734095&amp;set=a.373101832738456.79857.276413475740626&amp;type=1&amp;theater\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Here ya go<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Getting soaked by <a href=\"http:\/\/wanderlustforone.tumblr.com\/post\/26087882371\/getting-the-lay-of-the-land-here-in-seattle-one\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the International Fountain in the shadow of Seattle&#8217;s iconic Space Needle<\/a><\/li>\n<li>The incredibly modern and hip <a href=\"http:\/\/wanderlustforone.tumblr.com\/post\/26176490803\/marshaess-seattle-central-library-taken-with\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Seattle Central Library<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/wanderlustforone.tumblr.com\/post\/26398203326\/poetry-in-motion-captured-in-the-westlake\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Art and poetry<\/a> (or is it prose?) in transition<\/li>\n<li>Wow! factor at <a href=\"http:\/\/wanderlustforone.tumblr.com\/post\/26393152173\/from-the-new-dale-chihuly-museum-gallery-in\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the new Dale Chihuly museum<\/a> (or is it a gallery? hmm&#8230;)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/wanderlustforone.tumblr.com\/post\/26309650727\/visited-bainbridge-island-today-a-short-ferry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bainbridge Island<\/a>. I LOVE YOU<\/li>\n<li>Let&#8217;s not forget the people&#8211;T., who I met on the light rail on my way back to the city after returning my rental car to the airport, and with whom I shared a wonderful dinner, conversation, and eventually contact info. And K., a kindred spirit I met on Bainbridge Island&#8211;a five-minute conversation turned into a Facebook friend. And D., who shared her heart with me, even though we&#8217;d only known each other for only half an hour. And the many other people who simply made my week in Seattle so memorable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When I fall in love with a place, I always want to return at some future date but how I feel about the Seattle area goes beyond that. I want to go back <em>right now<\/em>. And stay for a long time. I&#8217;m not sure how to shake this feeling yet.\u00a0<em><strong>I&#8217;m not sure I want to<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve already starting working on posts detailing my three weeks-long West Coast escape; look for them to begin going live next week.
